What are the precautions for virus sampling tubes?
1. When the virus sampling tube is finished sampling, please submit it for inspection as soon as possible after the end of the sampling, and immediately transport it at a low temperature of 2°C to 8°C. The virus sampling tube sample can be placed at room temperature for a short time. For long-term storage, it should be stored at low temperature below -20°C, and it can be permanently frozen at -70°C. Among them, H1N1 virus particles are sensitive to -20°C and need to be stored below -20°C. If they are not transported at low temperature immediately after sampling, or are not stored at the specified temperature, the positive rate of virus isolation in the later stage will be affected.
2. The virus sampling tube is only used for the sampling of virus samples, not for the sampling of bacterial samples. The antibiotics contained in the preservation solution itself have an inhibitory effect on bacteria.
3. The virus sampling tube is forbidden to directly contact the sampled person, and it is forbidden to sample the sampled person after being soaked in the virus preservation solution.
4. When collecting virus samples, it is necessary to strictly follow the sampling procedures to ensure that the sampling site is correct and the sampling force is uniform. Otherwise, the positive rate of virus isolation will be affected.
5. Please do not use the product when it has expired, nor can it be used if the product packaging is damaged. Please find the manufacturer or dealer to replace or report the situation in time
6. When checking samples, please operate in a laboratory that meets the safety level
7. Please store the sampled virus sampling tubes in strict accordance with the requirements, otherwise it is easy to cause the proliferation of bacteria. The antibiotics in the previous preservation solution can inhibit the microorganisms in the samples, but do not take chances, please follow the requirements. Strictly store or transport.
Precautions for the use of virus preservation solution:
1. This product is a one-time product, which is only used for the collection, transportation and preservation of clinically collected virus specimens, and should not be used beyond the intended use.
2. Do not use the product after the expiration date or if the product packaging is damaged.
3. When collecting virus samples, professionals should strictly follow the sampling procedures. When testing samples, they should be operated in a laboratory that meets the safety level.
4. It is forbidden to soak the swab with the preservation solution before sampling.
5. It is forbidden to directly contact the collected personnel with the preservation solution that has placed the virus sample.
6. Specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 working days after collection, and the storage temperature should be 2~8 °C; if they cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 72 hours, they should be stored at low temperature, and repeated freezing and thawing of specimens should be avoided.
